Well, with those horrible Panaracer tyres, their Time bikes won't be going very far or fast..... |

Well, with Saur abandoning ship, we are wondering if our friends in Germany will be continuing on Definitive/Gitane for 2011. That would great, giving the girls and boys in Machecoul an incentive for further development of the line.

Well, I don't remember either. I searched back on our site to no avail. I thought that it was the the Gitane importer or one of the dealers in Germany. It was, by no means, an official squad. I should probably continue searching.

I can recall someone posting some photos of an amateur squad riding gitanes. So, your memory isn't faulty. |

That is correct. What a disappointment.

I know this is just sour grapes, but I did take a small amount of perverse pleasure in Mangel getting pipped on the line by Tommy Voeckler yesterday.
Would have won if he was on a gitane (maybe? )
Besides, everyone loves it when Tommy wins.
