Well...I finally got a response from Gitane in France which acknowledged the presence of this website:

As you know, at the time beiing the strategy of the Group is to concentrate the sales of Gitane cycles in the European countries and that why are not distributing the Gitane bikes in the USA

To answer your questions, today we are not selling the Team ISP frame/ bike with their colors to the public

As you have seen on our website, the ISP frame / bike Gitane Definitive is sold under the name THE ONE : it exists only in black or white and we have launched the concept " A la carte " bike around this frame

alright way to go sandman, awsome to get the aknowledgement , would be cool if they could help us with some catalogs were missin, pics maybe , anything from there archives. waya way cool tho love it Cool
