A friend of mine whose Dad owned a bike shop recently gave me a rear stay spreading tool. Pretty old...I have to look at the brand.... I like old tools. i still need a bunch for my tool set (particularly the headset race tools). I want to buy it all vintage, because the old tools "feel" better. You've right this model was export (to my mind) only in U.K ,i've found a source in flickr (from "stronglight"). I've been searching for a nice motobecane since many months but even in France it's difficult! As you know we have a fantastic "source" call "le bon coin" and we could only find some basic models of motobécane but my son has found this motoconfort in a flea market (we call it "les puces" in France) and bought it for my birthday (only 10euros..sorry),it's a good model but only with 3 reynolds tubing.It found his place with my other french popular (peugeot,mercier,gitane).But i'm still looking for a motobécane "Le Champion"..and a peugeot px10. It's a question of patience and that's fascinating...
