While Saur isn't participating as a team, Anthony Delaplace is competing for the French A team. So...we'll follow his exploits here. After all, he is still riding a Gitane! |

Huge mountain stage...really shook things up. Question is, why can people from the "low countries" climb? Wink Delaplace sits second in the mountains classification, with 19 points (leader at 21 pts).

18 Anthony Delaplace (Fra) France A 0:02:42

A Frenchman won today...but not on a Gitane, which is a pity. Delaplace is still hanging tough in the top 20.
Stage 4 Results:
1 Romain Hardy (Fra) France A 4:33:53
15 Anthony Delaplace (Fra) France A 0:02:06

Seriously, this is a cool race and it's nice to see some young guys starting out. Here's to more French victories. |

Deutschland Über Alles.
Delaplace fell well out of contention for the overall today. But I don't think he was aiming for it anyways (or a contender).

A Columbian won the stage and the overall. I wonder when the last time that happened was? Never??? Delaplace had an excellent race, always solid, and with one stage win. Very impressive!
