I've looked through catalogues and the descriptions from people and can't narrow down what model it is. Not helped of course by the campag hubs and brakes with Dura ace mechs and simplex levers. If they look like this (upside down point) or has B. CARRE stamped in then the bike is not a Gitane. It could be a Lejeune or a B. Carre frame. If it is a Gitane frame then it's a 1974 to 1976 or 77 Olympic model that has had the brake cable and derailleur cable guides plus the shift lever bosses added and it's been repainted. _________________ Chas. It's very helpful.
