For my 69-70 super corsa, I have a brake cable stop (bridge) that I wish to use with my competition brakes, but am unable to find the correct stop that bolts into the bridge hole. Any pointers on where I can find such a device (preferably french/authentic)? |

Finding the "correct" cable adjuster may prove well nigh imposable! Maybe the junk box at an olde bike shop but....
There are several cable adjusters that will work fine and are fairly easy to find.
Weinmann and Dia-Compe used these cable adjusters on their non-quick release hangers.
It may be easier to find a whole hanger and cannibalize it for the cable adjuster
An old bike shop, especially an old Schwinn dealer should have them. |

Yep ... can't find anything online so off to the recyclery to dig through their misfit-parts bin I have a couple of more Gitanes that I'm putting together over winter break, so I'll post some pics to the pictures forum when done.

It seems that there is a different missalignment then the rear triangle being off center. What kind of frame is it? Does it have vertical drop outs or horzontals? Is there a shop or builder that you can have take a look at the frame before you start to bend it around? As i said understanding is the first step and without more information and a look at the frame any attempts to fix the problem could just make things worse. voir coque samsung galaxy grand prime & etui samsung galaxy note 5 |
