Could be. Not sure I've seen them in that color. There's some wear on the paint but it looks to be in pretty good shape. Decals aren't correct. The frame has the Huret honeycomb dropouts which were from the mid-1970's. My Olympic has those dropouts and I think they were also on the Interclub. |

Yes and not a good one. And as Scozim mentioned, the decals are from 1978-79.
Gitane used the Huret honeycomb dropouts between 1974 and 1976 on most of their performance models.
The 1973 catalog show them on a few models so they were probably coming into the system and probably continued into 1977.
It has chrome rear stays so it was an all Reynolds 531 frame.
The Stronglight S5 headset would indicate that it was probably a French equipped Olympic model or a Champion Du Monde.
In 1976 some but not all of the top models had willow leaf seat stay caps rather than the swagged tops like on this frame.
