I have a Grand Sport De Luxe that I want to get a new seat post for ... it looks to be around a 25.0 but i am having a hard time telling exactly the size, the seat post is unmarked and i have no calipers. Anyone know what the seatpost size is for that model?
I don't know what year it is... early 70's by the decal font, but no faux chrome on the fork crowns and the lower half of the fork is chromed... or was chromed before age took half of it off.
Any info would be appreciated. |

The sizes are odd. Could be a 25.0, could be a 26.4. Best thing to do is take the old seat post with you to the bike shop, and have them measure it there. I would guess it is a 25.0, but I have a 1970's Super Corsa that runs a 26.8. |

Thanks... actually that's very helpful because i can tell its definitely not 26.4 but I didn't know if 25.0 was a standard size or not... was worried what if it's a 25.4 or some other obscure thing. Anyways, thanks and now i can bid on my Ebay seatpost! |

...I don't know if there is a 25.2 or a 25.4! There may be...and before you bid, I would confirm the size at your LBS! |
