Dear SquattinU,

Wow, what a fashion statement; if you were in Australia my brother-in-law (a blues player of renown) would snap this up!

He has been in my garage/workspace, seen the parts, and tried to get me onto ebay to find him something with this potential.

Your list of parts is very impressive, and the finished product looks very smart - not traditional by any means, but smart none-the-less. Very nicely done, with a great contrast selection.

Good onya.

Nice bike SU.

Hey OL, who's your bro-in-law? We have a blues player of renown who's into gitanes?

Hi Paul.

Bro-in-law is Dom Turner of Backsliders / Angry Tradesmen fame. He rides a Swabo commuter bike daily, but likes the idea of a personalised choose-your-own-adventure single speed number, especially if I am willing to orchestrate the build. He plays a mean guitar, but as a mechanic...???

If you do any of the blues/roots festivals, he is often in attendance (Byron Bay, Woodford, Port Fairy etc. And a Gitane like SU's is what he would be attracted to. He plays fast, I ride slower each year.

Cheers,

OwenL
